Turkish builders are preparing to start work on the construction of a unique bridge. The new viaduct will become the world's second tallest tower after the famous Millau viaduct in France. The construction of the latter became a real event in the world, the height of its highest support is 341 meters!
The length of the new building will be 372 meters. The viaduct will pass through the mountainous terrain between Alanya and Konya. Now this site needs to go round. When driving by car, the duration of the trip will be halved and will be about 2 hours.
The budget for future works is 220 million Turkish liras. The project provides 8 supports supporting the bridge. The carriageway will consist of 4 lanes, two in each direction.
