On the 24th of November every year is Teachers Day in Turkey.
Since 1981, 24th of November has been celebrated as The Teachers’ Day in Turkey.
Ataürk took the role as Head Teacher of the nation Başöğretmen, he stated that
Teacher’s day is marked by the children reading poems and readings and some give gifts to their favourite teachers.
World Teachers’ Day is celebrated across the world on October 5th.
