Amendments have been made to the law on foreigners and international protection.
International Labour Law numbered 6735 entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette numbered 29800 and dated 13 August 2016.
According to this law short-term residence permits shall be issued with maximum two-year duration at a time with no limit of leaving the country. So the article about cancellation of residence permit when foreigner lived outside of Turkey for longer than one hundred and twenty days in total has been removed.
Title deed (TAPU) owners can applicate for short-term residence permit.

• Bank statement about financial self support (6 000$ for 1 year, 12 000$ for two years)
