Turkish policemen: almost supermen
Policemen in Turkey received enlarged reality glasses for work. The device, which only a couple of years ago met only in science fiction films, is designed to make the work of police officers more productive. The testing of the optoelectronic device is now being conducted in Bodrum. After a while glasses will be used in other cities.
The glasses look very unusual, attract the attention of people on the street. In practice, they are very useful. For example, they help to recognize the autonomer on machines that are wanted. They give information about the fines of the owner of the car and the authenticity of license plates. The device is able to recognize faces and compare them to the base of wanted people. The Turkish Gendarmerie Administration has very high hopes for innovation.
